My Little Boy

"I want dows blue ones Mommy."  Always, always, he picks blue.

In some ways I cannot wait another second to have this baby.  In other ways, my heart is aching that soon Boston won't get my undivided attention.  I don't want my baby boy to feel replaced or unloved.
Boston is in the THICK of the terrible two's right now.  But then again, is there any way to know if it is really the thickest part of it?  It could definitely get worse and I should probably just plan on that.  All that I know is that he is giving me a run for my pregnant money right now.

But still, even with all the drama, he is so sweet and I love him so much. Before bed (he is now in a big boy bed!) I always read him a few books and then lay by him and tickle his back or hand or arm and sing him primary songs.  Sometimes I am so exhausted at that point but it makes it all worth it when he looks into my eyes or giggles and puts his nose against mine.

We went to the Bees game on Memorial Day with Johnny, Sarah, Max, Hazel, Laura, and Ryan.

Boston will really miss Hazel and Max.

They went through a bit of a rough (violent) stage before Max left.  I think they love each other deep down :)

All the Allreds had a BBQ and then camp out in my parents backyard before we helped Johnny and Sarah load up their moving van.

Boston slept so good in his sleeping bag for the first time!  He woke up right next to Chaz's face and did a big smile. :)

Big boy bed!  He loves bringing his stufties and books into bed with him.  But he stays in it so good!  Even in the morning he just sits there until I open his door.  He loves it.

We love our flowers!  I love having fresh flowers on the table.

This was a dream come true.

A craving that we can blame on pregnancy but really it's just that I love sugar in general.

I love living out here.  It smells like hay and grass and we are so close to a little biking path.

Sometimes after Boston goes to bed, Chaz lets me go on a run or a bike ride and it is heaven.

We have RASPBERRIES!  How do you teach a two year old to only pick the red ones?

Hiking up Adams Canyon with Johnny and Sarah and Mom.

This is the face he has been making when we tell him to smile.

Dane and Court offered their time share to us for a night in Eden UT. and we had a fun little retreat there.

"Do under doggy one mow time."

I hope he does okay with all this baby stuff and I hope he loves her as much as I love my siblings.  He is a good boy. :)

In other news, I cut my hair s h o r t....

I guess it's about time that I get the mom-do, right?
