I want so badly to be good at documenting our lives.
I want to be so good at writing insightful and funny things that I will love to look back on and read someday when we are grown up.
But these days Boston is such a whirl wind all day that by the time I lay him in his crib, pick up the million toys on the living room floor, (occasionally) try to squeeze in an Insanity workout to curb my non-workout guilt, and (occasionally) do the dishes, all I want to do is watch Gillmore Girls.
So that is what I have been doing instead of blogging.
I am getting so addicted to that show.
It's good!
Which shows that I really am burnt out because I am not usually a TV watcher.
I didn't get him a costume this year so I at least had to take his shirt off and put some overalls on him and take some pictures of him by some cute pumpkins, right?
Boston is about 7 and 1/2 months old!
Lately I will be watching him while he is crawling around or climbing up on something and I can't believe how old he acts.
Yes, he has been crawling for about a month now!
We had to lower his crib because he started climbing. (on EVERYTHING)
The only problem is that his balance isn't that great yet and so occasionally, out of the blue he will fling back and smack his head and do the saddest, sweetest, rip-your-heart-out baby cry.
Or tumble to the side or whatever.
So we have to always stand by him or be close because if I even walk in the kitchen for a second he is climbing all over everything!

Destined for greatness, he is.
Gotcha!
The end of the falling asleep on Mom and Dad's bed days. I'm too afraid he will wake up and crawl right off.

I love Logan. Especially in the fall. Those mountains though.

Boston is also just funny.
He has been doing this thing that I call the "squishy smile" where he smiles so big and wrinkles his nose and his whole face.
And he does it at the slightest thing I do, like saying "boo."
He pulls himself up to stand by the coffee table and pulls all the library books onto the floor.
He has been such a mommas boy and will crawl up onto my lap and loves for me to walk around holding him.
He is eating SO good.
He eats everything- even the beef baby food that smells like cat food!
He still spits up a ton. Usually he will crawl right over to my lap and spit up and then crawl away. Ha!
He wakes up reeeaaall early around 5 or 6 every morning but when I lift that cute little guy out of his crib I don't even really mind.
His exema is bad and I put lotion on his entire body 3 times a day so it won't flare up.
Changing his diaper is probably the most hilarious thing for someone else to watch. He will not lay still and most of the time I am scooting around trying to put a diaper on a naked baby crawling away.
But that little cottage cheese bum is to die for!
He always smiles so big when Chaz walks in the door everyday.

Winter, we are ready for you.
Dane and Courtney had their baby, MAX! (Max B, that is.) He is so precious.
As for me, I am a little scared for winter.
What do I do with a busy baby all day in the house?
It gets so lonely around here.
I feel a little lost like I don't know what I should be doing with my life right now.
I think about the years of grad school Chaz has left which means debt and Chaz being gone all the time and I am filled with dread.
Fortunately, a loving Heavenly Father knows what I am struggling with and gives me messages like this and this to let me know everything is going to be okay.
God will support those who honor Him.
I can do this.
I am strong.
I am a daughter of God and He has a plan for me.
This time of year is beautiful and exciting.
I love the holidays!
I can't wait to celebrate them with Boston for the first time.
My friend from high school took some family pictures for us up Green Canyon. She is so talented.
If you look closely, you'll notice Boston is doing his adorable thing where he sucks on his lower lip in most of them.

You know who else is talented?
My Mom!
These are some pictures she took of Bosty over my favorite weekend of the year, General Conference weekend:
Peace out. :)
