The Best Kind of Changes

There have been a lot of big changes in my life lately.  I've always struggled with change but I think it is good because it stretches me and helps me grow.  Plus, these changes are all such happy ones.

Change #1:  Graduated from Utah State

Boston was my Senior project AND graduation present! The best one ever.

It was so fun to walk with Scotty in graduation.  I sneaked over to his college so I could sit by him.

We went to the Blue Bird for lunch with everyone after.

Boston was such a little sweetie all day.  I was praying he would do okay because he seems to have a hard time when he gets over stimulated when he is around lots of people but I don't think he cried the whole time we were there.

Cousin bonding.

I'm not supposed to eat dairy because it makes Bost spit up more but OOPS...That Aggie Ice cream gets me every time...

Chaz was so sweet and surprised me with a road bike for a graduation present!  I want to start doing triathlons and it is so much faster than my other one.

Utah State will always have such a special place in my heart because of all that I have learned, the ways I have grown, and all the memories I have made while there.  But that is a post for another day!

Change #2:  Being a mom

I love it.  Before I had him I thought kids were kind of in the way of my dreams and education and career.  But I remember being in the hospital the day after I had him thinking that there is nothing else I want to do with my life but him.  He is my new dream!

Chaz is a good dad

A couple of things about Boston right now:

He is really strong.  He can hold up his head really high and for a long time during tummy time.  He can also roll over already.  Today he did it three times in a row!

He spits up SO much.  We think he might have acid reflux.  I change his outfit like 10 times a day.  He is so cute when I put him on the changing table.  He always turns his head to look out the window and squirms around and kicks.

I think he is the cutest and sweetest baby ever.

Most of the time he will sleep for like one 5 hour stretch at night and then another 3 hour one.  A lot of mornings I will go in and he will be all wet from spit up...so sad.

He gets really mad when we try to give him the binky when he is hungry.  He likes to be bounced or for us to do lunges or squats when he is fussy.  As in, that is just about the only thing that will calm him down.

I am starting to see more personality in him and I can't wait to see more!

Change #3:  Twenty Two

I turned the big 22 yesterday.

My mom made a great cake

My parents are the nicest and got me a Garmin for my birthday.  It is totally revolutionizing my runs.

So here's to some happy changes!
